The Heracleum II LED Suspension was inspired by the Heracleum plant. The white leaves/lenses ramify from one branch creating a very technical, natural structure. The leaves are not frozen in one position, they can be freely re-positioned by rotating them around their stem. Available with a Copper or Nickel finish in two sizes. Choice of 4 or 10 meter cable.

See more from MoooiAn artist and designer with an interest in textiles, Bertjan Pot graduated in 1998 from the Design Academy Eindhoven (NL), department Man and Identity. In this department - with head of department Ulf Moritz - Pot discovered his fascination for textiles, producing one of his first works: Knitted Lamp. From there, he participated in a number of exhibitions including A Fine Mess (Netherlands, 2004), Post Fossil (Tokyo, 2010), Masks (Australia, 2012) and beyond. His works are featured in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam and the MoMa in New York.
A fascination for techniques, structures, patterns and colors lead him to interior product design, collaborating with brands like Moooi, Nike, Cassina, Goods and dozens more. Over the years, Bertjan won several awards for outstanding design, and eventually established Studio Bertjan Pot where he continues to experiment with cutting edge technology and innovative textiles. His collections for Moooi - Heracleum, Random, Non Random and Prop - have become some of the most lauded fixtures of the 21st century.

Unfortunately, this is an integrated LED fixture and the bulbs cannot be replaced with a standard bulb. However, there may be the possibility of re-lamping through the manufacturer. Please reach out to customer service for additional information.

Have not installed it yet since we need to deliver to client's home, but I was stunned at how cheap and plastic-y it looked. Does it look better installed? It is really cool, but I assumed that it was glass...my bad!

Love this organic look, would look great in many different applications (dining room, entry, etc) and the best part is it's LED so no changing bulbs!
